Camera Update

I would like to say thanks to everyone who gave me input about what camera to purchase! I found myself asking everyone, "what kind of camera do you have?" My desire was to purchase a nice point and shoot camera that has a number of options. So, what did I do? I purchased three different cameras! Can we say fickle? It seemed that each one I chose had little issues. Either it was too slow, not clear enough, or it didn't have the quality that I was looking for.

One little piece of information that I didn't share with you, is that our family is going on vacation in a couple of weeks. Ideally, a very small, fit in your pocket camera, would be great for our upcoming trip. However, most of the time, I want something with a little more substance in my hand. So, what I would really like is two different cameras! The hard part with this decision, is that money doesn't grow on trees!

So, here is what I bought a Canon Powershot SD790is! It is small and it will fit in my pocket. It meets our immediate needs for our upcoming trip. We were able to purchase it for a reasonable price and it takes good pics! As for my "second camera", I now have my sights on a Canon Rebel! Yet, I am content and at peace with being a one camera owner. In case you are wondering, I did return two of the cameras that I purchased.

Here are a few shots of my girls with the new camera!

I have the same combo. I like Canon and am happy with my Rebel. They changed what I have from the XTi To the XSi though similar with image stablizing. It is a great camera but you have to buy another $150 lense to go with that one. I love it though and if your into photography I think you will be pleased with it.
